How long does a lesson last?

Our lessons last 60 minutes for children up to the age of 10 and 90 minutes for participants aged 11 and over.

What do I need for my personal consultation?

For your personal consultation, all you need is your computer or tablet (preferably with camera function), headphones and of course a stable internet connection. It’s also always good to have paper and pen at hand. Here we explain how to book your personal consultation.

How big are your groups?

Our groups contain up to 8 participants.

Are you also open during the school vacations?

Almost! Unfortunately, we are not open during the two weeks of the Christmas holidays. Otherwise, we are there for you all year round, see Assadé calendar, and help you where we can.

How can I cancel my lesson subscription?

You can cancel your lesson subscription via email at any time with six weeks notice.

We will also confirm the cancellation by e-mail. During this time you can of course make full use of our services. Unfortunately, we cannot pause your subscription.

How do I pay for my lessons?

You can easily pay for your lessons through the shop on our website.

How do I sign up?

You or your parents can easily sign up for your lessons via the shop on our website.

We will automatically contact you via email with a confirmation that everything worked correctly with your registration.

Is the personal consultation free of charge and without obligation?

Yes! It is important to us that you feel comfortable with us and that you know exactly what to expect. That’s why we offer you a personal consultation.

How do I let you know if I can't attend class one day?

If you are unable to attend an agreed or booked lesson, in the case of private lessons, if you cancel at least 24h in advance, it is possible to make up this private class on another date (suggested to you by us). In the case of group lessons, unfortunately, this is not possible.

Are your teachers native speakers?

Our teachers are native speakers or have a native level of proficiency in the language of instruction at your school.

In which language will the tutoring take place?

Our tutoring sessions are always held in the language of instruction of your school.

Do I get additional material from you?

Our teachers will put together exactly the right digitised material for each teaching group and upload it to your virtual MS Teams classroom, so you can access it at any time (even outside of class).

What about homework?

Normally, you will also receive homework from your teachers to repeat and deepen the content you have worked on (always to a completely feasible extent), which will then be discussed in the following lesson. This way we make sure that you REALLY understand everything well.

Is it enough to take lessons once a week?

This question cannot be answered in a general way; it is better to clarify your situation and needs together with you during your personal consultation.

Do I need to bring my own materials for class?

Of course, if you have specific questions, you can always bring your own material.

Are your tutoring classes only for students who have difficulties in the respective subject?

No! We have many students who are already good at their respective subjects, but who want to improve even further with us and are supported with our individual care and guidance.

Our students very often start to really enjoy the subject they are working on with us.

What topics do we work on in our tutoring classes?

In our lessons we work on the topics of the curriculum of your grade. We place particular emphasis on developing the relevant basics and methods so that you can easily access new content and master tasks independently.

Are there students from different grades in one tutoring group?

No, in all our tutoring groups, all students are always in the same grade.

Are different subjects mixed in your tutoring groups?

No, of course, only one subject is worked on at a time in the tutoring groups.

Can I also book additional private lessons?

Yes, of course we can do additional private lessons for you.

Do I also get help with my homework during the tutoring lessons?

Of course we can help you with your homework selectively, but by studying with us you will be able to do your homework independently and confidently.

Are your teachers native speakers?

Our teachers are native speakers or have a native level command of the language they teach. In addition, they speak at least one foreign language and thus know the “language learning situation” very well from their own experience.

Do I get learning materials from you?

Our teachers put together exactly the right digital learning material for each teaching group and make it available to you.

Do I need to bring my own materials for class?

Of course, if you have specific questions, you can always bring your own documents for this purpose, but usually this will not be necessary.

What about homework?

How do I take the placement test?

When will I get the result of my placement test?

After you have completed your level placement test, click on the button “Submit placement test now”. The result will be sent to you via e-mail.

Can I also book additional private lessons?

Yes, of course we can do additional private lessons for you.

How do you choose your teachers?

Our teachers have the appropriate formal or comparable academic training for their subject and bring experience, enthusiasm and commitment to teaching content and working with people.

In addition to professional competence, it is also particularly important for us that our teachers are friendly and empathetic and can respond very well to our students!

We also test and promote all of this practically within the framework of an orientation phase and regular observation in the classroom.

Are your teachers native speakers?

Our teachers are native speakers or have a native level command of the language they teach. In addition, they speak at least one foreign language and thus know the “language learning situation” very well from their own experience.

How do your teachers train further?

During the orientation phase, our teachers observe existing groups and are regularly supervised in their lessons by our management. In addition, we regularly train our teachers in didactics, the latest materials and content, and the use of our teaching platform, MS Teams, and relevant tools.

Where do your teachers teach from?

Our teachers teach from wherever they feel most comfortable. In our team we have employees from many different countries, most of them live in Germany and Spain.

What does Assadé "really" mean?

We are all about language and communication. Assadé means “let’s talk” in Bété, a language from the Côte d’Ivoire.

Are you as a school involved in the social, charitable field?

Yes, as a school we support a hospital in Man, a town in Côte d’Ivoire, with regular donations according to the motto “Anima sana in corpore sano”.
