Learning support in German and Maths

We support children and teenagers who are learning to the German curriculum abroad or preparing for a change of school or a return to Germany. Personal, live and online – with the right teachers for German and Maths.

Where we support your child

German

The test calls for a discursive essay. Your child knows the material but doesn't know how to begin. We practise exactly the text types the school asks for. Grammar and spelling are trained along the way.

Maths

Often the problem starts with understanding the task. We clarify the terms and work through the method together until your child can solve the problem alone.

Exam preparation

Central class test (ZKA) in year 10, Abitur in 11 and 12. We plan backwards from exam day so that everything doesn't pile up in the last few weeks, and practise the tasks the way they are set in the exam.

School change & return

Moving to Germany or changing schools abroad? The earlier preparation starts, the better your child can adjust to the new school, both in language and in subject knowledge.

First we find out where the problem really lies.

Before the first lesson comes a placement test. It shows us where your child stands and where there are still gaps. We start right there and build on it step by step.

Frequently asked questions

Is this tutoring?
Traditional tutoring usually focuses on the current material and the next test. We first look at where your child stands, draw up a learning plan and work specifically on the gaps. The next test is part of it, but not the only goal.
Which school years is the support for?
For years 5 to 12. Most children attend a German school abroad, some an international school. Others are preparing for a change of school abroad or a return to Germany.
What are the lessons like?
Regular, personal, online – with the right teacher. We see how your child is progressing and adjust the learning plan.
How do we get started?
With a free first conversation. You tell us where things are stuck, and we talk about the school, the year and the last few tests. Afterwards we tell you honestly whether and how we can help.

Where is your child getting stuck?

Tell us in a first conversation. It's free, and afterwards you'll know what the next step is.
