Terms of engagement

These terms apply to the learning support provided by Assadé Idiomas, S.L. No services are sold through this website: a contract is concluded only after a personal consultation and an individual agreement.

Scope

The provider of the services is Assadé Idiomas, S.L., Av. de la República Argentina 256, ppal 1, 08023 Barcelona, Spain, tax ID B66645698. These terms supplement the individual agreement made between Assadé and the parents or guardians. Differing arrangements take precedence where they have been confirmed in writing.

Services

Assadé provides personal online learning support in German and Maths for students in grades 5 to 12 who are schooled in German abroad or are returning to the German school system. Lessons take place live via an online platform. Assadé undertakes to provide careful, professionally sound support, but does not guarantee any particular academic outcome.

Conclusion of the contract

The presentation on this website is not a binding offer. The process is: a non-binding enquiry, a free consultation and assessment conversation, followed by an individual proposal. The contract is concluded when that proposal is accepted in writing. Only persons aged 18 or over can be a contracting party.

Prices and payment

Prices depend on the scope and rhythm of the agreed support and are communicated transparently before the contract is concluded. All prices include statutory taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment method and due dates are set out in the individual agreement.

Appointments, cancellation and missed lessons

Appointments are arranged in advance; Assadé teaches worldwide across different time zones. If an appointment cannot be kept, it must be cancelled in good time; the notice period follows from the individual agreement. If a lesson is not held for reasons attributable to Assadé, it is made up or refunded.

Term and termination

The term and notice periods follow from the individual agreement. The right of either party to terminate for good cause remains unaffected.

Technical requirements and cooperation

Lessons require a computer or tablet with camera and microphone and a stable internet connection. Participants cooperate in the learning support, in particular by attending punctually and completing agreed tasks.

Liability

Assadé is liable without limitation in cases of intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise Assadé is liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable damage typical of this type of contract.

Applicable law and dispute resolution

Spanish law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence. The Spanish version of these terms prevails. The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Assadé is neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
